Cool training. Really?
Definitely.
reallycooltraining
sessions are relaxed and informal; yet instructive and informative. They're
designed to be rewarding and enjoyable – for you, and for the tutor. Yes - we like to have a good time
too! You’ll learn by interacting, experiencing, experimenting, asking
questions; and getting answers. You’re
not there to listen to a lecture. That would not be cool. Our main aim is to help you to exploit
your potential by enhancing your skills. Back at your workplace, if you can
implement what you’ve learned,
your job will be easier. You, your staff and your
organisation will become more effective, and some of the hassle will
disappear from your life.
What’s
different about the training we deliver?
There's no law that states you cannot enjoy yourself while you’re learning. If you’re enjoying the training you will
almost certainly learn from it. Conversely, it would be enormously difficult
to teach you if you’re bored to tears. Accordingly, we set out to deliver
training that, first and foremost, is good fun.
However, training is a serious
subject, so the fun is not without substance. It’s highly probable that when you return to work after the
training, you’ll have a backlog of work to catch up on. Therefore the time
spent training must be a worthwhile investment.
Furthermore, there’s no point
in having a fun day out just for the sake of it so the training must be
relevant. We believe that our training should teach you what you want to
know, within reasonable constraints of course. You will be given every
respect, and we will always bear in mind your needs as an
individual. Although we will start off with a plan in mind it’s not cast in stone. Flexibility is
key to our approach so we will change direction when appropriate.
Finally, organisations invest good money in their employees’ development so it’s extremely
important that the training gives you value for your money.
Our training portfolio ...
We deliver training sessions in both Management
Skills and IT Skills, which is
appreciated by clients.
Our Management Skills portfolio includes: Delivering brilliant
presentations; Efficient
business writing; Techniques for
successful interviewing; Improving your
interpersonal skills; Motivational and
inspirational leadership; Creating a successful team;
Appraising
effectively and fairly; Project
Management in practice, and Train the
trainer.
The advice we offer is based on years of genuine management experience.
Reality - not theory.
Our IT Skills Portfolio centres around Microsoft® Office, and includes Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, Project, Outlook
and Windows.
For IT tuition, we highly recommend one-to-one coaching at your place of
work, which brings several key benefits. You can ask any questions you
want, you can work at your level of expertise and your speed, and any
improvements we generate are still on the PC when the trainer leaves.
These are not so easy to achieve in a classroom situation. Wherever
possible we’ll work with files
you use to do your job, and use them as the focal point for the
training. For example, if you have an Excel worksheet that isn’t operating effectively we’ll work together
to improve it. If we come across a problem that can’t be resolved on the
day, we’ll take it away and do our best to get you an answer.
Meeting your objectives
If all of this sounds just a bit too informal, please be assured that we
deliver professional training to a high standard of quality. Every module
has clearly stated objectives, and at the end of each module you’ll be asked to confirm that
all the objectives for the day have been met, including your own.
As we go along we’ll point
out shortcuts, show you the tricks of the trade, and pepper the day with
hints and tips.
Finally, if it can clearly be demonstrated that they've not been
met, we’ll keep working with you
until you’re completely satisfied. And while we're on the subject of
satisfaction, perhaps you'd like to read our clients' reaction to the
work we've done with them.
Cool
training. Really!
