Project Management in practice "Is everything going according to plan? What do you mean, we don't have a plan". This module covers the principles of project management in a straightforward no-frills fashion. A main part of the project manager's role is to get everyone involved in the project to do what they are supposed to do - when they are supposed to do it. So, we look at the interpersonal skills that this person needs to have. A successful project will be one that is delivered to time, to cost, and to the required quality standard. So, we will also consider in detail this three-cornered juggling act that the project manager must perform. There is also a demonstration of Microsoft Project for those who wish to investigate using the software. This module is therefore closely linked to Microsoft Project.
